In today’s world, people are becoming more and more dependent on the resources around them. One of these resources is Shoreline’s own food pantry which helps feed about 50 people a month on average. This food pantry is stocked by the Food Bank of Monterey County who is in need of food donations from the surrounding community. Through the end of November, Community Outreach is holding a food drive to help our friends at the Food Bank of Monterey County so they can help us. They are in need of various items including powdered milk, canned/dried fruit, canned vegetables, beef stew and many more items. For a complete list of food needed and to donate, please go to the donation bins in the lobbies both downstairs and upstairs.
