Happy New Year from Community Outreach!
We wanted to let you know about two upcoming opportunities to serve to start off 2010 serving God!
The first opportunity is THIS Sunday, January 3rd from 7-8:30 pm. Shoreline’s Women’s Shelter Visits are a great way to encourage and befriend women in transition. Women who attend these events are consistently blessed by their time spent at the shelter. See the Community Outreach booth on Sunday morning for details and directions.
The second opportunity is one the whole family can enjoy! January’s Serve Saturday will take place on Saturday, January 9th from 9 am -2 pm in the Fellowship Center. We will be making Valentine’s cards for delivery in late January for troops overseas and in February for local people who need a little love in their life.
On a separate note, Shoreline’s Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be only be open on Tuesday, December 29th this week due to the New Year’s holiday.
