We just wanted to let you know what’s going on with Shoreline’s Community Outreach ministry.
We had a spectacular Serve Saturday this past Saturday making valentines for the troops overseas and the un-churched of Monterey County. Be on the lookout for details about delivery of these valentines coming your way soon. THANK YOU to everyone who was involved.
Coming up THIS Saturday, January 16th, is our first convalescent home visit of the year. Pastors Keith and Andrew will join us as we fellowship and worship with these deserving people. Meet in the parking lot of the Monterey Pines Convalescent Home at 9:45 am for prayer.
This Sunday, January 17th is our next Women’s Shelter visit. Come encourage and empower these women in transition at 7 pm on Sunday night. Directions to the women’s shelter are available at the Community Outreach booth or by replying to this email. If you are interested in helping to re-decorate some rooms of the Women’s Shelter, please call or email.
Speaking of women, the women of Community Outreach have been invited to the All Women’s Ball benefitting the women’s shelter we visit. This event will take place on Friday, January 22nd from 8-11 pm. Contact us for further information.
