Well it’s a hot day here in Stockton and we are part way through day two of our six days here working with New Day Community Church. The bible clubs are going well and the kids are having a wonderful time and doing a great job. Several of the bible clubs we are doing in parks have had low attendance but we are able to connect to the kids in a much deeper way. We have more kids joining the clubs throughout the day and it’s already been a huge blessing to the church here in Stockton.

Last night we were provided with dinner by the Jr High Pastor from Quail Lakes Church here in Stockton. Our groups go to Hume Lake the same week and we have been able to develop a great relationship over the last several years. It was such a blessing to have them host us for dinner and fun. The students felt truly blessed by this act of services and it was nice to enjoy some air conditioning for a few hours at the end of our long hot day. It’s great to have this huge reminder that no matter where we go, as Christians we always have family waiting to welcome us home.
