08/29/2010 God Encounters – Priorities in House Building – Haggai - Kevin Harney

Each week our focus will be on one biblical character, a unique encounter they had with God, and something they learned (about their own faith and God) through this experience. This week our character will be Haggai and the encounter will be when God came and spoke to Haggai and gave him a prophetic message (The content of the book of Haggai). The lesson about God is that He loves us so much that He calls us to make sure He is always first in our lives. The message about ourselves is that the daily stuff of our lives often gets in the way of our faith and we need to regularly redefine our priorities.
