Jonathan Ryan Worship Director

Jonathan is Shoreline’s worship leader, and continues to develop the creative and logistical vision for the Music Ministry. He works alongside Shoreline’s talented teams of volunteer musicians, to prepare and present authentic and powerful congregational worship times, and has a passion for using music to reach people both inside and outside the church. A native of central California, Jonathan has been involved with various worship teams for over a decade. He has had the privilege of playing music throughout the country, and studied Music and Biblical Studies at Southeastern University and Liberty University. Jonathan is currently working on his M.A. in Theological Studies, and his continued goal is to help people of all ages and background connect with God through relevant expressions of art and music. In his spare time, he loves cooking, painting, and songwriting. Jonathan lives in Monterey with his wife Bethany.

Ben Huey Technical Director

As technical director, Ben is in charge of maintaining the technical worship systems for the facility, as well as leading the teams that operate the sound, broadcast, lighting and video production. He has been working in church audio since 1996, and he started recording in 2000. In 2004 Ben gained a formal education in audio sciences from The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, a school specializing in recording and live sound technologies. Following school, Ben worked at The Plant Recording Studios in Sausalito, Ca. Since coming on staff, Ben has moved from the position of audio engineer to that of technical director. He oversees the production aspects of Shoreline: sound, video, and lighting. Ben and his wife of seven years Erika live in Salinas with their three children, Alice (4) Gwendalyn (2),and Friedrich (newb).

Bobbie Wedlake Programming Director

Bobbie is programming director for our Celebration Worship Services and special events. She oversees the “First Impressions” teams of Parking, Hospitality, Greeters, Ushers and also our newest ministry, Signing; and along with a team of artists, set construction crew and many helpful hands brings stage art to our worship center for our sermon series.  Bobbie brings years of full time ministry experience to Shoreline, along with a heart to help the staff and volunteers serve “successfully,” and a desire for all to have a deeper worship experience. She has shared God’s amazing love in churches and retreats in the US, and has participated in summer missions trips to Russia, Scotland, and the Romi (gypsy) communities in Bulgaria. Bobbie holds a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia. She is married to a long time Shoreline attender, Joe, and has three wonderful sons: John, Ethan, and David, who is married to Lily.

John Wineglass Music Director

As music director, John Wineglass works with the worship leader to bring glory to God through music throughout the church. A native Washingtonian, John Wineglass has performed in several orchestras and chamber ensembles both in the U.S. and abroad, performing his first viola concerto with the DC Youth Orchestra in 1984 at 11 years old. John has achieved numerous music accreditations, as well as three Emmy® Awards with seven nominations to date, and he has performed with many Grammy®-Award winning artists. His musical prowess and his passion for music have afforded him opportunities to perform on five continents and before every president since Ronald Reagan. John is a graduate of The American University (B.M.) and holds a master’s degree in Music Composition from New York University, studying with Justin Dello-Joio of the Julliard School. John coordinates our worship sets as well, and you will catch him onstage most Sunday mornings playing the keyboard, organ, violin, and occasionally even the accordion. His wife Denise is also a talented worship musician. John and Denise live on the Peninsula with their daughter Abbey.
