Just wanted to take a moment to update everyone regarding the Elevation! Ministry’s summer plans. We will be taking a break from our usual Friday meetings, but we will be having some fun events for you to look forward to!
On June 3, we will be doing a Monterey Historic Walk. We will meet at the Royal Presidio Chapel for prayer at 6:45 p.m., and then we will walk the historic path ending at the wharf for some chowder at 9 p.m.
On June 11, at the Monterey YMCA, there will be a singles dance sponsored by Steve Ross at 8 p.m. The cost is $12, but there will be free music and sodas.
On July 1, we will be having a free concert at Shoreline. Child of Mercy will be playing. You won’t want to miss it!
On July 3, we will be sharing in a barbecue with Shoreline’s Celebrate Recovery Ministry! Come out and make some new friends! We look forward to seeing you there!
On August 5, we will be having a campfire at Still Water Cove with Coralitas sausages.
You won’t want to miss out on these fun events with friends! We hope to see you at some or all of these summertime activities.
We have decided that April 15th will be the date of our upcoming pizza party! We will be meeting that day at 6 p.m.
Please email Jillian if you plan on coming. We would like to have an accurate head count so that we know how many pizzas to get.

Thank you so much to all of you who have been participating in the Elevation! ministry. We are off to a great start and we are really looking forward to what God has in store for this ministry!
Please note that we are now meeting in Room 1108 on Fridays at 7 p.m. On the 4th (and 5th, if applicable) Friday of each month, we will meet in Room 1208.
We also try to provide different activities on the weekend a few times a month, so please let us know if you would like to receive email updates regarding these activities.
