On June 3, we will be doing a Monterey Historic Walk. We will meet at the Royal Presidio Chapel for prayer at 6:45 p.m., and then we will walk the historic path ending at the wharf for some chowder at 9 p.m.

On June 11, at the Monterey YMCA, there will be a singles dance sponsored by Steve Ross at 8 p.m. The cost is $12, but there will be free music and sodas.

On July 1, we will be having a free concert at Shoreline. Child of Mercy will be playing. You won’t want to miss it!

On July 3, we will be sharing in a barbecue with Shoreline’s Celebrate Recovery Ministry! Come out and make some new friends! We look forward to seeing you there!

On August 5, we will be having a campfire at Still Water Cove with Coralitas sausages.

You won’t want to miss out on these fun events with friends! We hope to see you at some or all of these summertime activities.

We have some very exciting things planned for the next two weeks at Elevation! You won’t want to miss out on the wonderful messages, fellowship and fun!

On May 6th, award winning guitarist John Gregorius will be playing at Elevation! John has many videos on youtube so make sure to check him out! Pastor Dave will bring a special message while Mike is away. This is going to be a fun night, so come and bring a friend!

On May 13th, we will meet at 6 p.m. instead of our usual meeting time, 7 p.m. We will be having a potluck dinner, so please bring your favorite dish! We will meet in Room 1208 for dinner, prayer and fellowship. Right at 7 p.m., we will head down to the “Garage” (aka The Youth Room) and be a part of our music ministry’s Open Mic Night! You can simply come and watch or you can even perform! If you would like to perform your songs or poetry, please contact music@shorelinechurch.org. Snacks, coffee and tea will be provided. This is a great event, and you will certainly want to be a part of it!

On Friday, March 25, we will take a look at lying and discuss the consequences that come with such actions.

On Friday, April 1, we will have Elevation!’s first comedy night. Please come and share your favorite joke. This is a great opportunity to bring a friend!

On either April 8 or April 15 (not sure which yet – we will keep you updated), we will have Elevation!’s first pizza party at 6 p.m. Please RSVP to Jillian so we can plan accordingly and buy the correct amount of pizzas.

Churches today and in the past have sometimes overlooked the vitality of singles and their purpose in the church. Churches have mistakenly neglected the influence singles can have not only in the church, but also in their community and beyond. That’s not the case here at Shoreline. We know singles are crucial and essential to the mission of our church and the way we serve each other and the community. There’s enormous power in singles’ working and serving together.

Regardless of the circumstance or choice that led you to be single at this time, God has a plan and a purpose for your life. There’s not one area that can’t benefit from you and your acts of service.

This exciting program starts Friday night January 28th at 7 p.m.

Child care is available (1st come, first serve) Everyone is welcome!

Les Coulter will be giving a very special concert and message on the hope and blessings of Good Friday Friday 4/2 (right after the 7:00pm Good Friday service) Again-Open to everyone. We will be featuring a free dessert bar and be giving a brief introduction to what we do in our “Shoreline Care and Recovery ministries” along with a reflective time of worship with brotha Les!
