Laughing, Learning, Worship, and Solid Biblical Teaching

Students need to know that every hour of every day, they can be living with the Word. All 66 books of the Bible have something to tell us about God, ourselves, and the world we live in—that’s 24/7:66 living with the word.

This time will help our middle schoolers understand the thread of redemption woven throughout the Bible. Our students will be inspired by what God is doing around the world and will be challenged to read Scripture every day.

In addition to creating great memories for our group, PlanetWisdom will train and equip our students to:

  • Articulate the evidence for the credibility of Scripture
  • Understand the basic structure of the Bible
  • Use three approaches to studying the Bible on their own

Event Description

For the past 10 years, PlanetWisdom has served over 300,000 students and 10,000 local churches by providing a truly unique weekend event. It is more than random big-name speakers and artists. It’s a group of people who have worked together for years, commited to making PlanetWisdom an event that helps students take specific next steps to follow Jesus and grow deeper in their walk with God. Through compelling teaching, powerful worship music, video, interactive experiences and hilarious drama, PlanetWisdom gives your group a place to step outside of everyday life and focus on God in new ways.

Skit Guys: The Skit Guys are Eddie James and Tommy Woodard, who love to communicate God’s Word in dynamic and captivating ways through the use of drama, teaching and comedy. Learn more about the Skit Guys here.

The Story Parent’s Page

This is week one of the all-church study of The Story. We are looking forward to an amazing 31-week journey through the word of God. ANGEL TREE

Angel Tree is the only national ministry to reach out to the children of incarcerated parents. With your help, we can touch the hearts of hurting children at Christmas and transform lives through the power of Jesus Christ!

Did you know that:
• One in three prisoners is a parent
• About 75% of women in prison are mothers
• 1 in every 43 children has a parent in prison
• More than 1.7 million children will spend Christmas separated from their mom or dad

Let’s do our part to bring some joy into the lives of these children at Christmas. Come to Shoreline this saturday morning to learn about how you can help with gift distribution. After a short training you and your family will be asigned several gifts to drop off to children around the Monterey area. Take part in blessing others this Christmas season through sharing love with Angel Tree.

Each year we enjoy this time together with the students and families of Exit. We will start the evening with our classic christmas quiz followed by a great dinner. After a short teaching time we move into christmas bingo where the kids win treats and mom and dad go home with the big prizes. This year we have a full HD camera for some lucky mom or dad to take home among other prizes. The party starts at 6pm and runs to 8pm on wednesday the Dec 7th. You don’t want to miss out on the great evening of kicking off the christmas season!

We are looking for families to bring main dishes and sides to help with our dinner please conntact Pastor Andrew at andrew@shorelinechurch.org to sign up to help.
