Our next Divorce Recovery study will begin next week on Monday, February 15th!! This 8 week study will be on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in Room 1201 at Shoreline Community Church. Grief Recovery Support Group

Shoreline’s Grief Support Group will be starting this month! We will be meeting on Sunday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. starting Sunday evening, February 21st in Room 1208 at Shoreline Community Church. This Grief Support Group, based on Grief Share’s curriculum, will be a safe place to share with others who are on their own grief journey.

Life’s Healing Choices

Join us for Life’s Healing Choices, an 8 week spiritual growth campaign based on The Beatitudes! We will launch our study on Thursday, February 25 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Fellowship Center of Shoreline Community Church. This will be a Biblical journey where men and women who are struggling through life’s many decisions can connect and share the experience of God’s healing and transformation. We will be gathering from 7-9 p.m. There will no longer be dinner available, but we still want you to join us for fellowship, worship, and small groups. God blesses those who serve in His mighty name and we could use a few more volunteers in the Celebrate Recovery ministry. “Gathering” this Friday | September 4th

This is an important reminder that this Friday night we will be starting the season of Celebrate Recovery from lesson one and kicking off a new year of healing fellowship. We look forward to finding freedom from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits, and most importantly a deeper, more meaningful relationship with our Heavenly Father.
Emails have gone out to all churches and recovery centers in the area, and I would appreciate your help in spreading the word. This Friday will be a great starting point for anyone that you know is in need of God‘s miraculous healing grace. From tonight until Friday, pray about those in your life who you are going to invite. This Friday, September 4 we will be gathering in the fellowship center of Shoreline Church, 2500 Garden Road, Monterey, CA 93940.
6 p.m.: Food and fellowship
7 p.m.: Rockin’ worship and message of hope
8-9 p.m.: Small Group gatherings

With growth and new seasons, there comes the need for involvement and ownership. We are seeking new group leader candidates with over one year of God’s healing in the following areas: afflicted by addicted loved ones, anxiety and anger, female chemical and substance related addictions, sexual addictions, and co-dependency. Also, we are looking for those with a servant’s heart to help with set-up, food service, and greeting (for both Tuesday and Friday nights). Come and join the Celebrate Recovery team- be a part of the Eternal Miracle that God is working through His people.
I truly love being a part of this great Christ-centered program. Thanks to all of you and the work God is doing through you- it is working. This will be a true season of change that will effect Eternity!

Labor Day BBQ

Don’t miss the upcoming Labor Day BBQ on Monday, September 7 from 12-5 p.m. at Shoreline Community Church. We ask for a $5.00 donation per person for great food, music, and cheesy party games (karaoke, 3 legged race, egg toss, etc.) Everyone is welcome!!

Angel Smythe Band Coming to Shoreline!

The Angel Smythe Band is coming to Shoreline for a very special engagement at both the Single Adult Ministry gathering on Thursday July, 30th AND Celebrate Recovery on Friday, July 31st. Both events start at 6:30 pm and offer an atmosphere of fun, fellowship and an amazing time of worship. Angel joins us from Saddleback Church in Southern California and we are blessed to have her here for these special occasions. Come on out to one or both of the concerts and bring a friend! You’ll be richly blessed.
Fourth of July BBQ A Huge Success!

Shoreline Community Church hosted a Fourth of July BBQ over the weekend and it was a great success! People from all walks of life came out to enjoy the amazing food, fantastic music and fellowship with one another.
