We’re going back! The Global Outreach Ministry is getting ready for its annual trip to El Salvador, November 16th – 22nd. Through our partnership with Compassion International, we have the unique opportunity to go on a missions trip to La Libertad, El Salvador. The church in La Libertad is Shoreline’s partner church. People at Shoreline even have the opportunity to sponsor children at the partner church through Compassion International. This trip is a way for individuals to meet the children they sponsor, and for those who don’t currently sponsor a child, it is a great way for them to see what Compassion International is all about! If you are interested in this trip, please fill out our online application ASAP because spots are limited and deadlines are quickly approaching. If you would like more information, please email our Global Outreach Admin, Rebecca, at email@example.com

Shoreline’s Global Outreach Ministry sent a team to our ministry partners down in La Misión Mexico June 8-13. Everyone is now back, safe and sound, with so many stories to tell! God did an amazing work in the life of each of the team members as they served at the Breakfast Club, helped put on a mini Vacation Bible School, passed out dispensas, prayed with the nationals, and hung out with the wonderful kiddos at Door of Faith Orphanage. Above is a photo of the team in front of the Breakfast Club- a ministry that serves a hot breakfast Monday-Friday to about 150 people a day in a community in Tijuana. This year, the team was also able to help the Breakfast Club by spending an extra day there deep cleaning the kitchen and the church and painting the halls, bathrooms, as well as the kitchen inside the building! Praise God for His provisions before, during and now that they’ve returned from the trip! Many doors were open and relationships with our partners were strengthened as we served and loved God’s people just across the border. If you’re interested in joining one of our upcoming trips, fill out our Online Participation Form. If you have any additional questions or would like to learn more about getting involved in this ministry, email Rebecca at email@example.com.
Shoreline’s Global Outreach Ministry sent a team to the Philippines in March. That team met up with another group from Michigan sent by our ministry partner, World Mission, for the two week journey that followed. Everyone came back with countless stories to tell. Above is a snapshot of one of the refugee tent cities set up for those whose homes were destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. At this camp, the team was able to pass out audio bibles (aka Treasures) and share the hope found in Christ with those living there. Throughout the trip we were also able to provide people with supplies using the funds that Shoreline raised in response to the typhoon in November. Praise God for His faithfulness before, during and now after the trip. He showed mightily and revealed himself throughout the two weeks as he provided the team with traveling mercies, overwhelming love and opportunities to learn from the nationals. Thank you for your prayers and support!
