Deeper

Don’t skim over the surface of the things that matter most in this life…dive deep and discover that God is ready to lead you to places of meaning and joy you have never dreamed of.

Shoreline Community Church exists to help as many people as possible become totally committed to Jesus Christ. This has been our mission from the beginning. It reflects the very heart of God. Join us as we spend four weeks responding to the invitation of God to go deeper in some of the areas of life that matter most to God and us. Are you longing to worship God with deeper passion? Do you want to share the love and grace of Jesus with greater effectiveness? Are you ready to see your faith grow beyond what you have experienced up to this point in your walk with Jesus? Starting on August 17 and 18 we will plunge deep into the presence, grace, and mission of God.

Weekly reading guide will be available every Sunday.

Services times: Sunday Morning – 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. AND Monday Night – 6:30 p.m.
(Sign Language interpretation at 11:30 a.m. service)

Practical Barriers-Email Blast

You are driving down a country road and all of a sudden you come upon a sign that says, “Bridge Out!” Imagine you are on the way home from work and see a flashing sign that says, “Construction Ahead, Detour.” The truth is, you were not looking for a barrier, but there it is! Life and faith can be like this. You want to believe, but there is something right there in the middle of the road of your heart. It is a barrier you did not ask for, but it is real. Join us at Shoreline Community Church as we honestly discuss some of the barriers that keep people from putting their trust and faith in God.

Intellectual-Barriers-Email-Blast

Can really smart people believe in Jesus and love Him with all their heart? Can intellect and faith be friends, or are they foes? Can a person follow Jesus if they still have questions about God and the Bible? Is it possible to overcome intellectual challenges and barriers to faith? Join us at Shoreline Community Church as we engage our minds, ask hard questions, and discover that rigorous intellectual pursuit and authentic faith can co-exist in the same person.

Gifts Worth Keeping
Let’s just be very, very honest.  We all receive Christmas gifts that are not worth keeping.  The list is long: Bad ties, fruitcake, most things marked “As Seen on T.V.” almost any Christmas sweater ever made, a bass mounted on a plaque that sings,  and the list goes on!  This Christmas we will look at six gifts that Jesus offers that are worth keeping. These gifts will never break, run out of batteries, go out of style, or stop fitting us.  Join us for the Christmas season at Shoreline Community Church as we discover Gifts Worth Keeping  and we celebrate Jesus, the giver of every good gift.

Services times are: Sunday Morning – 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. AND Monday Night – 6:30 p.m.
(Sign Language interpretation at 11:30 a.m. service)
