Personal Reflection- How have you experienced God’s best in your life? What do you do that keeps you from experiencing God’s best?
Discussion- What are some of the things we can do to put ourselves in a place where we will experience God’s best in our lives? What are some of the things God wants us to have and experience that we can miss if we are not careful?
Prayer Direction- Ask God to help you see where you are making decisions and living in a way that keeps you from experiencing all He wants and has for you. Thank God for being a loving Father and praise Him for the good gifts he gives.
“Live It!” Challenge - Write a letter to God, as your heavenly Father, and thank Him for ten good gifts He has given to you. Let Him know that you recognize His generosity and that you are truly a thankful son or daughter.
Monthly Prayer Focus: As we move from July into August, we will focus our prayers on traveling, every day, with Jesus. Identify some of the good seasons and wonderful places He has led you and give Him thanks. Pray that you will learn to slow down and notice the good places and refreshing moments of life.

Join us on August 17 and 24 as Dr. Darryl DelHousaye digs deeper into the Bible. There will be childcare provided and dinner is only 2/$7.00 or 1/$4.00. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. and event begins at 6:30 p.m. inside the Worship Center.

Trust in God when you are in the Land Between!
WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND:
- I-Help, Friday, July 22nd 4-8:30 p.m. & Saturday, July 23rd 6-9 a.m.
We will be hosting the men of I-Help, providing them with food, a place to sleep, and sharing the words of Jesus. Let’s pray for these men to find the path that God has for them. - Cypress Ridge Care Center Visit (formerly Monterey Pines) Saturday, July 23rd 9:45 – 11:30 a.m.
Due to a schedule change we were unable to visit with Cypress Ridge last weekend. So come join us this weekend as we share love and fellowship with the residents. Let’s touch their hearts with the light of God. Meet in the parking lot.
FOOD DONATIONS
Thank you to the kids from VBS (Vacation Bible School) for all their food donations for the Food Pantry. It is wonderful to see you give from your heart at such a young age! If you would like to donate also, the Food Pantry can use these items: dried beans and rice, peanut butter, soup, canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned chicken, beef stew, canned tuna, pasta and pasta sauce, dry cereal and oatmeal.

- Pasta with the Pastors (Monterey), Saturday, July 23rd 5-7 p.m.
The 19th Annual Benefit for I-Help will be held at San Carlos Cathedral Hall, 500 Church St. This is an all you can eat event with silent auction. Our local clergy will serve the meals. Tickets are on sale at the Community Outreach Booth or at the door, $12 for adults and $5 for children under 10 yrs.
WHAT’S HAPPENING NEXT MONTH:
- Global Leadership Summit, Thursday, August 11th- Friday, August 12th
Check the Website for info on this incredible event. General prices you will see on the Summit website are higher than Shoreline’s special rate of $129. Ask about registering for special (even lower) military and student/teacher rates. - Pasta with the Pastors (Salinas), Saturday, August 27th, 5-7 p.m.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND:

Randy Frazee: Is the Lead Pastor of Oak Hills Church in San Antonio Texas. Randy serves side-by side with Max Lucado as a teaching team. He has also been a Teaching Pastor at Willow Creek Community. Randy is the author of a number of books including Making Room for Life and The Connecting Church. He and his wife Rozanne have four children and love to serve the Lord together.
Adam Barr: Is the Lead Pastor of Peace Reformed Church in Middleville, Michigan. He is also the Founder and President of Borderlands Ministries. Adam is the author of Exploring The Story, a resource that helps believers understand the big picture of God’s story in the Bible and in our lives. Adam and his wife Jen have four boys!
Jeff Manion: Is the Lead Pastor of Ada Bible Church in Michigan. He planted his church and has served there for over twenty-five years. Jeff is the author of the book, The Land Between, and we have invited him to come and speak on the theme of this book. Jeff and his wife Chris have three children.
