Community Outreach is in the midst of holiday happenings and we want to keep YOU in the loop!
This past week we were able to bless men, women and children in transition at the Message of Hope event which helped provide some Christmas cheer to those who find themselves in transition this year. It was a great night filled with fun, food and entertainment for the whole family. THANK YOU to everyone who was involved in this undertaking.
We were also able to wrap up our AngelTree donation time with people delivering the donated gifts to this year’s AngelTree benefactors. THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this year’s AngelTree partnership. It was a big success and would not have happened without the generous donations from everyone involved.
THIS Saturday from 9:45-11:30 am marks our Convalescent Christmas party at the Monterey Pines Convalescent Home and things are shaping up very nicely. This event looks to be one of the highlights of this month. There’s still time to participate if you are interested in this fantastic opportunity to serve.
THIS Sunday evening from 7-8:30 pm also marks the last Women’s Shelter visit of the year. This is a great opportunity to befriend and encourage women in transition. For more information on this event, please stop by the Outreach booth or call 831.655.0100 x338.
Last but certainly not least NEXT Monday, December 21st from 6:30-8 pm come join Community Outreach as we bless the attendees of Candy Cane Lane by singing Christmas carols. This is a great chance to serve for the whole family.
