Each week our focus will be on one biblical character, a unique encounter they had with God, and something they learned (about their own faith and God) through this experience. This week our character will be Daniel, the encounter will be when Daniel resisted the cultural pressure placed on him as a captive in a foreign land and the lessons will be: God can give us power to stand against great forces and we can say yes to God and no to temptation if we walk in God’s power.
