Personal Reflection- Who are people that invested in your life and helped you become who you are today? How can you express thanks for (and to) these people?
Discussion- Who are one or two people God has placed in your life that you can mentor, encourage, and help grow in faith (they can be children, grandchildren, friends, people in church…)? What are ways you can invest in the lives of these people and help them learn to walk with Jesus more closely and grow in faith?

If they are not in a relationship with God, begin praying for them to open their heart to the Savior. Identify one way you can encourage and cheer them on in their life and faith. Then, do it!
Monthly Prayer Focus:This May we will focus our prayers on families. There are many challenges families face today and they need our prayer support. Please pray for dads and moms to take time to be with their kids and give spiritual leadership in the home.
Resources for the “No Place Like Home?” series: If you want to dig deeper into the topic of strong families, consider reading, Sacred Parenting by Gary Thomas or Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. There is also a great DVD curriculum for Sacred Marriage with a small group study guide for couples. You can order/purchase these at the Shoreline Bookstore today.
