Divorce Recovery to Resume in the Fall

If you are struggling with the pain and hardships that come during or after a divorce, you may be interested in a new Divorce Recovery study that is beginning this Fall (start date to be determined). Opportunity to Serve with Celebrate Recovery

We want to extend to you the opportunity to serve with Celebrate Recovery! Serving is very rewarding and a truly great blessing. We believe that service is a very important part of the healing process.

The Bible tells us how important service is:

“And since I, the Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. I have given you an example to follow: do as I have done to you.” – John 13:14-15

“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.” – Ephesians 6:7

Please sign up or talk to the Recovery Leadership Team if you want to serve the Lord as well as your brothers and sisters in Christ. If you feel that you are gifted in any of the following areas and would like to serve in any of the following, we would love to talk with you:

-information table set-up
-greeting
-coffee & room set-up & tear-down
-lyrics operation (Thursday only)
-assistant tech (Thursday only)

Life’s Healing Choices

If you were unable to attend the study Life’s Healing Choices in the spring, we have excellent news for you! A new Life’s Healing Choices small group is starting on Monday, August 23. Alion Mansfield will be leading the group at his home in Seaside. The group will meet Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m.

This is an 8 week study based on ‘The Beatitudes’. This will be a group where people who are struggling through life’s many decisions can connect and share the experience of God’s healing and transformation.
