Coming home from camp with more then t-shirts and strange stories is very important to me. Every camper has put time into learning memory verses this last week and i would hate to see them quickly lost as we return home. I encourage you to not only ask your student about these verses but also to learn them yourself. The best way to lead is by example so I have a challenge for the parents. The first parent and student who can say all the camp verses together will get 50% off one youth group event in the 2012 calendar year. I don’t wont to waste your study time so simply scroll down for the list of verses.

Psalm 119:9-11
9 How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to your word.
10 I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands.
11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
Psalm 31:1-3
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness.
2 Turn your ear to me,
come quickly to my rescue;
be my rock of refuge,
a strong fortress to save me.
3 Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
Psalm 18:1-3
I love you, LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield[b] and the horn[c] of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise,
and I have been saved from my enemies.
Psalm 25:8-10
8 Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
9 He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.
10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful
toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
Psalm 40:6-8
6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—
but my ears you have opened[a]—
burnt offerings and sin offerings[b] you did not require.
7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—
it is written about me in the scroll.[c]
8 I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart.”
