Wildwood Discipleship Camp | June 19-25

On May 15, 2011, in High School Ministry, by High School Ministry

Wildwood is Hume Lake’s discipleship camp for students who wish to push themselves beyond the familiar into a world of exceptional devotion to God. Wildwood’s philosophy of stripping away the layers of falsehood and distraction is evidenced in daily interactions and candid discussions about student’s lives, struggles, and answering God’s call for deeper devotion to Him. Set in the back forests of Hume’s property, Wildwood emphasizes overcoming obstacles and learning to discipline oneself in response to the challenges of life.
We will be taking 15 students up to Hume for a week that they will never forget! Camp is June 19-25, the week right before all of high school group heads to Ponderosa. The cost of camp is $400/camper.

Game, Set, Match.

On April 4, 2011, in Sermon Resources, by Shoreline

In sporting events there are turning points, momentum shifts, and decisive moments when you know the game is over…even when there is still some time on the clock. In the history of the world, the greatest turning point came when Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins and rose from the grave in victory three days later! Although it was over 2,000 years ago, the resurrection of Jesus still stands as the decisive point in all of human history. This was a Game, Set, Match moment of eternal significance. Because Jesus has risen, God wins! If we are in a relationship with God through Jesus, we share in His victory!

Join us as we celebrate the biggest momentum shift of all…the resurrection of Jesus.

Easter Sunday Service Times:

7:45, 9, 10:30 & 11:59 a.m.

Baptism | April 3rd
We conduct a Believer’s Baptism, for those of an age and maturity to fully comprehend the wonderful act of being part of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.  It’s more than simply trying to live a better life. We bury the “old person” by being immersed in water and become a “new person” as we emerge, in a public confession according to scriptural direction. Come celebrate with the new life in Christ! Join us April 3rd at 2 p.m. at Lover’s Point.

A Book Worth Reading

On October 20, 2010, in High School Ministry, Students, by High School Ministry

Hey guys,

We usually post on here to let you know about upcoming events and things happening around C3, but today we want to tell you about a new book from our very own lead pastor Kevin Harney. What we are studying in main service and high school service is based on his new book, “Organic Outreach for Ordinary People.” I (Stephen) have been reading it all week. It is full of useful and practical advice about sharing who God is and what He has done for us in natural and authentic ways. If you’ve ever felt awkward or ashamed to share your faith, this book helps dispel and teach you how easy it is to integrate God into your daily conversations. You can pick up a discounted copy right here at Shoreline on Sundays or get money to Stephen and Keith and we will get you a copy.

If you have any questions or want more information contact Stephen at 831.917.8765
