BAM! Living in Resurrection Power 2
BIFF! What Benefits!
Reading for the Week of March 28- April 3
Day 1- Luke 23
Day 2- Luke 24
Day 3- John 17
Day 4- John 18
Day 5- John 19
Day 6- John 20
Bonus- Read 1 Corinthians chapter 15 each day
Memorize/Reflect- “When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” (1 Corinthians 15:54-55)
Reflection- Who are people I know that have not yet met the risen Christ and how might their life change if they knew Jesus?
Discussion- What are ways we can help people see and experience the love of God, power of the Spirit, and the risen presence of Jesus Christ?
Prayer Direction- Ask God to let the light, love, and presence of the risen Christ shine through your life. Tell God that He can work through you in any way He wants so that others will come to know the grace of Jesus.
“Live It!” Challenge- Take time this week to do one of the following things: 1) Pray for friends who don’t know Jesus; 2) Tell someone your story of how you entered a relationship with Jesus; 3) Invite someone to Easter or Good Friday services.
April Prayer Focus- Praying the Psalms. Read Psalms 8 and 19. Let the message and heartbeat of these Psalms guide you to celebrate God’s beautiful creation and give praise to the divine artist who made the heavens and the earth.
April-June- We are beginning the practice of a new discipline…Silence. This is hard in a loud world, but is it very valuable. Set aside one or two times this week that you can spend fifteen minutes being quite and waiting on the Lord. Just listen. Keep a note pad and write down thoughts and promptings you hear from the Lord.
