Last Sunday morning we had Pastor Tom Green, Shoreline’s Outreach Pastor, come to share at Exit’s Sunday morning service. As the Outreach Pastor here at Shoreline, Pastor Tom helps keep us all moving forward with the message of Gods love. As Pastor Tom shared stories from his own life the students were challenged to live out their faith in regular prayer for those around us, and through the sharing their our own story of faith in Christ. Shoreline’s mission statement is all about helping as many people as possible become totally committed to Christ.
As we focus and better our personal outreach, even in middle school, we are furthering the mission or Shoreline here in Monterey. Our challenge to the students is to begin praying for their friends on a daily basis and to look for opportunities to pray for and with people as often as possible. As our students learn to reach out to their friends please pray that they can catch the vision of outreach that Pastor Tom has given them a glimpse into.

This years theme is: ALL IN
All In explores the lives of Saul and David, examining what it takes to be a person “after God’s own heart,” regardless of the circumstances.
Too often we selfishly seek approval, wisdom, and victory without first seeking the will of God. All In explores how David managed to be called a “man after God’s own heart” despite his human failings, and how Saul lost God’s blessings and succumbed to his pride, jealousy, and fear. Through this theme, we will learn to cultivate a passion to seek God, emulate His character, and strive to be men and women after God’s own heart.
Theme Verse: Psalms 40:8
I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”
