We Have Moved!

On September 20, 2012, in Middle School - EXIT, Students, by Shoreline

As of this week our middle school mid week program has moved to room 1108. This is an exciting time at Shoreline as we prepare to launch several on site venues and part of this preparation includes a little bit a room shuffling. As the Garage (youth room) is being transitioned into it’s new primary purpose as the site for the Park Side Venue all of the ministries using this space have found new or temporary places to take up camp. Please check back soon for information on the long term plan as to what space the middle school group will be using for both Sunday Mornings and mid week activities. See you or your student in room 1108 soon!

Stockton Missions Trip Update 6

On August 3, 2012, in Middle School - EXIT, by Shoreline

All packed up and on our way!
After a long week of work we are on our way home. Today we wrapped up our final tasks and loaded up for our journey. Every missions trip we take ends in a wrap up and debrief on the way home. I was so excited to have this time affirming all the students for their hard work and incredible spirits of service. God truly used our middle school group this week to bless the people of Stockton. I’m so proud of each one of these students for serving to the fullest of their energy and ability. Thank you all for your prayers and see you soon!

Stockton Missions Trip Update 4

On August 2, 2012, in Middle School - EXIT, by Shoreline

Day five of our trip brought our hottest day yet with the high hitting 100. Water, water, water was a must! Even with the heat baking us cool weather central coast people the work went on. We started the day painting and moved into several more projects as the day progressed. Luckily today’s shower and rest time also allowed for a nice swim to cool us off.
Today was also youth group day here in Stockton so our group join theirs for their weekly youth group meeting. It’s so much fun to see kids from very different cultures connect and have common ground through their relationship with God.
As the heat of the day faded to night we spent a couple hours out having fun. Then we ended the day painting the same way we began. The drop and the heat made the second coat of paint seem very appealing to complete before we are facing more over the top hot tomorrow.
Check back soon for updates!
