Words for 2010 – Frame

On September 14, 2009, in Production, by Shoreline Media

-Frame- Dictionary.com defines frame as “a rigid structure formed of relatively slender pieces, joined so as to surround sizable empty spaces or nonstructural panels, and generally used as a major support in building or engineering works, machinery, furniture, etc.”

The idea of Framing is to take the ideas and we learned and found during our time of seeking and using them as a basis to begin constructing our goals.

To frame out goals for the year we can begin to get an idea of what needs we will have going forward.

Framing is very important to over structure of a goal because it is the support. With out a solid foundation we will not be able to build.

The bible tells  us to build out foundation on the lord

In  Matthew Ch 7

The Wise and Foolish Builders

24“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

We Should seek God in everything, we should frame  out what we find when we seek, and make our foundation on the Rock.

We’ll be talking about what it means to -Build- next time

Words for 2010-Seek

On August 19, 2009, in Production, by Shoreline Media

SEEK- The dictionary defines the word seek as; a : to go in search of : look for b : to try to discover.

If we take a look at scripture, I would say the most famous passage with the word seek is Matthew 6:33.

If we take a look at it in context :

25 “This is why I tell you: (T) Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? (U) 26 Look at the birds of the sky: they don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? (V) 27 Can any of you add a single cubit to his height [o] by worrying? 28 And why do you worry about clothes? Learn how the wildflowers of the field grow: they don’t labor or spin thread. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these! 30 If that’s how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, won’t He do much more for you—you of little faith? (W) 31 So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32 For the idolaters [p] eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God (X) [q] and His righteousness, (Y) and all these things will be provided for you. (Z) 34 Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble (AA) of its own.

In Production we have to be mindful of getting stuck in a rut. Just doing things the same because it is easy…easy is an easy trap to fall in to.
Seek- Use our eyes, ears, hearts to seek out what God has in store for us next year. Be on the look out for new ideas, for new concepts, and for influences that could just shake up what is easy. Let us set aside what is easy for what God has planned.  Lets pray that we will be open to seek and find what will bring  glory to God and to his kingdom.
