Elevation! is our single adult ministry here at Shoreline Community Church. We seek to share the message of Christ, grow in our relationships with him, and create a safe atmosphere of unity, acceptance, and belonging for single adults in our community. Our purpose is to help you grow spiritually, connect with other single adults, and learn the plans God has for your life.
Churches today and in the past have sometimes overlooked the vitality of singles and their purpose in the church. Churches have mistakenly neglected the influence singles can have not only in the church, but also in their community and beyond. That’s not the case here at Shoreline. We know singles are crucial and essential to the mission of our church and the way we serve each other and the community. There’s enormous power in singles’ working and serving together.
Regardless of the circumstance or choice that led you to be single at this time, God has a plan and a purpose for your life. There’s not one area that can’t benefit from you and your acts of service.
This exciting program starts Friday night January 28th at 7 p.m.

Sunday teachers for The Tidepool (nursery-2 years); The Reef (3 years-first grade); The Cove (2nd-5th grade) Volunteers are required to complete application, have references checked, and be fingerprinted. You can complete an application online. Come join in impacting the life of a child for Christ!
Sign Team Members- Students 4th & 5th grade are invited to be part of the new signing team. You will be required to come to rehearsal 2 times a month beginning Jan. 9th at 8:30. You will be learning American Sign Language and some hand motions and become the signing leaders during any of the 3 services in The Cove. All interested, meet in room 1207.
Background helpers: If you have an interest in room set up, curriculum prep, computer input, then this is the position for you.

We are currently looking for additional leaders who will bring new ideas to our ministry. Among these leaders, we hope to find both couples and singles willing to serve so that this ministry can be more effective in our outreach to single adults.
We are open to suggestions as we gear up for the fall, so please send us your input or let us know if you are interested in serving in one of our leadership roles by contacting Dave Hopkins or call 831.655.0100, x303.
