God Time and Parent Cue : : 11.20.11
It is the week before Thanksgiving, of course we are going to learn to, “Take time to say thank you.” Find out what other things your first-fifth graders are up to in The Cove. Downloadable family resources are right here each Sunday afternoon. Don’t miss out on some good conversation starters for you and your kids. To make it easier, download the Parent Cue app for your smart phone from iTunes or the Droid Marketplace.

Pre-Thanksgiving Outreach | Nov.17
Thanksgiving for most people means food, family, football and a righteous nap. But for those who are homeless or poor, Thanksgiving is a very difficult holiday.
That’s why we’re going to take time @ HS Group to serve. This is a great opportunity to give back and be a part of something so much bigger than yourself. Bring a friend, we’re going to have a ton of fun!
When: Tonight – November 17th (7-9p)
Where: Shoreline Church (Youth Room)

INVISIBLE CHILDREN documentary | Nov. 12th
We are story tellers. We make documentaries about war-affected children in east Africa and tour them around the world.
We use the power of media to inspire young people to help end the longest running war in Africa. Our model has proven effective, and hundreds of thousands of people have been called to action through our films and the volunteers that tour them.
We are made up of a tireless staff, hundreds of full time volunteers, and thousands of students and supporters. We are young, we are citizens of the world, we are artists, activists, and entrepreneurs. This fall, we are using our voice to ask President Obama to spearhead efforts to bring peace to Northern Uganda. We are mobilizing a generation to capture the attention of the international community, and make a stand for justice in the wake of genocide.
EXPERIENCE THEIR NEW FILM this Sunday (Nov 12th), in the Youth Room @ 11:30 am
