Hey Everyone,
This Tuesday Night we are going to be meeting for a ridiculous night of the worst music you’ve heard in your life. Whereas we typically have nights where people bring their favorite song to share why it is so special to them or what it means to them personally, this is not a night for that. We literally want you to bring one or two of the worst songs you have ever heard, and bring them to punish the ears of others. It can be anything from a cheesy kids song, an obscure band that isn’t famous for a reason, a famous band that has somehow gotten popular despite their awful qualities, or maybe even something you’ve created yourself. Basically, we just want to get together and have a fun time laughing and quite possibly crying (if the music is that bad). Invite some friends, bring a snack to pass, and most importantly bring the worst song you have ever heard. There will be different awards for different levels and areas of terribleness. Hope to see you all there!

We are going to continue in our study of 1 & 2 Timothy for the next two weeks, so I think it would be beneficial to do some reading out of these books. One very interesting section from 2 Timothy is found in chapter 3, where Paul informs Timothy of the use and nature of scripture. To get a sense of what he says, read through these verses in Timothy and some others:
2 Timothy 3:10-17
John 10:34-35
Titus 1:1-3

One thing that I would really like to talk about is how we deal with conflict resolution in the church. This idea is not something that is optional, and not something to be ignored because it is uncomfortable for most people to have confrontation. This verse talks about how this is supposed to be done in a Christ-like manner, and I think is very important to talk about. Hope to see you there tomorrow!
