WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND:
- I-Help, Friday, July 22nd 4-8:30 p.m. & Saturday, July 23rd 6-9 a.m.
We will be hosting the men of I-Help, providing them with food, a place to sleep, and sharing the words of Jesus. Let’s pray for these men to find the path that God has for them. - Cypress Ridge Care Center Visit (formerly Monterey Pines) Saturday, July 23rd 9:45 – 11:30 a.m.
Due to a schedule change we were unable to visit with Cypress Ridge last weekend. So come join us this weekend as we share love and fellowship with the residents. Let’s touch their hearts with the light of God. Meet in the parking lot.
FOOD DONATIONS
Thank you to the kids from VBS (Vacation Bible School) for all their food donations for the Food Pantry. It is wonderful to see you give from your heart at such a young age! If you would like to donate also, the Food Pantry can use these items: dried beans and rice, peanut butter, soup, canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned chicken, beef stew, canned tuna, pasta and pasta sauce, dry cereal and oatmeal.

The 19th Annual Benefit for I-Help will be held at San Carlos Cathedral Hall, 500 Church St. This is an all you can eat event with silent auction. Our local clergy will serve the meals. Tickets are on sale at the Community Outreach Booth or at the door, $12 for adults and $5 for children under 10 yrs.

- Global Leadership Summit, Thursday, August 11th- Friday, August 12th
Check the Website for info on this incredible event. General prices you will see on the Summit website are higher than Shoreline’s special rate of $129. Ask about registering for special (even lower) military and student/teacher rates. - Pasta with the Pastors (Salinas), Saturday, August 27th, 5-7 p.m.

We are so grateful to each of you for taking time to help the women at Hamilton House to better their lives and situation. A special thank you to Lisa Jefferson for her presentation on Team Building! God still has us touching their hearts with His love.

We had a fantastic week of Vacation Bible School conclude Friday, July 15th. Thank you to all of you parents for sending your children. We were blessed by their attendance! My thanks to over 80 volunteers who helped make this a great week traveling with Paul and learning about faith.

JUMP IN and join the VBS team in one of several spots available for this extremely excellent adventure. We will see you on July 11-15 from 9-noon for PreK-5th
Men: Take on Pastor Roy’s Summer Service Challenge and give us 5-half days and be a small group leader to 8-10 boys. Come and help us ‘carry the load,’ while having loads of fun!

Here’s a great opportunity for all of you who have wanted to get involved with Awana Club, Sunday School or Special Children’s Events. Providing a safe environment for our children is important to us and so we require that everyone who works with our children be fingerprinted. On Sunday, September 13 we will offer in house fingerprinting from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. You will find us set-up just outside the Shoreline Bookstore. Please bring a picture ID with you that day. If you have questions regarding this event you may email Stacee Johnson, stacee@shorelinechurch.org.
