SEEK- The dictionary defines the word seek as; a : to go in search of : look for b : to try to discover.
If we take a look at scripture, I would say the most famous passage with the word seek is Matthew 6:33.
If we take a look at it in context :
25 “This is why I tell you: (T) Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? (U) 26 Look at the birds of the sky: they don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? (V) 27 Can any of you add a single cubit to his height [o] by worrying? 28 And why do you worry about clothes? Learn how the wildflowers of the field grow: they don’t labor or spin thread. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these! 30 If that’s how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, won’t He do much more for you—you of little faith? (W) 31 So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32 For the idolaters [p] eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God (X) [q] and His righteousness, (Y) and all these things will be provided for you. (Z) 34 Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble (AA) of its own.
In Production we have to be mindful of getting stuck in a rut. Just doing things the same because it is easy…easy is an easy trap to fall in to.
Seek- Use our eyes, ears, hearts to seek out what God has in store for us next year. Be on the look out for new ideas, for new concepts, and for influences that could just shake up what is easy. Let us set aside what is easy for what God has planned. Lets pray that we will be open to seek and find what will bring glory to God and to his kingdom.

As we close in on the end of 2009, one can not help but look forward to 2010. The Underground would like to take this time to think about next year and how we can be most affective in our function at Shoreline and abroad.
I was surfing late late late last night on the web (080809), I came across a few blogs discussing goal setting. After much thought about it, I would like everyone involved in The Underground to ponder, pray, and consider the following words and what they could mean to you in 2010:
-SEEK-
-FRAME-
-BUILD-
-BRIDGE-
If you have questions or have ideas about this concept let me know

Video Scavenger Hunt!
7-10pm
Cost: Free
A great night of filming! Grab all your friends for the scavenger hunt of the year! You and a group (with an adult leader, of course) will set out to acquire a plethora of video documentation of a pre-made list of wacky, zany, and mildly outrageous stunts and actions! (for example: your group singing a backstreet boys song to a stranger, somebody in your group giving the Gettysburg address outside a Starbucks while standing on a chair, etc.) You wont want to miss this great time of hangin’ out and making awesome videos. Plus, if it’s really good, we might even give out some prizes. RSVP is a must so we know how many cars we need!
